We hope everyone has had a wonderful 2012! OCPBR did, and one of our favorite adoption stories this year was of Coco. Coco was rescued from a known dog-fighting area as a puppy, adopted and returned to OCPBR a short time after. Her family was going through hard times and you can tell how it affected her. She was a very nervous dog unsure of herself and everything else in the world. She quickly made friends with the two dogs in her foster home and became more and more confident every day. It wasn’t long before she found her forever home where she enjoys playing with her large toy collection and hiking at Big Bear. She is safe again and the light of her adoptive Mom’s eye. We hope that many more dogs have had happy endings as well this year.
