Hi i'm Lizzie and I LOVES food and am extremely food motivated. I also loves walks/hikes/jogs. I am a little skiddish with bikes and skateboards though. I am crate trained and accustomed to wearing a pack on walks/hikes. I have a TON of energy, all day every day...total party girl. One of my favorite things is playing fetch with a tennis ball. I will go for hours if you let me.

When I am really excited I will do Zoomies through your house. I have been to the lake a few times and enjoyed playing in the water! Although I am not a huge fan of baths (I tolerates them ?) I do great on car rides and happily jump right into the car.

I have spent years going to doggy daycares and dog parks, unfortunately I have picked up some naughty habits and can be dog selective.

When we say we back our OCPBR dogs for life we mean it ?? Lizzie was adopted from us back in 2014 as a younger girl, well now she is a little bit older and wiser and the perfect age of 6.5  - 7? Unfortunately our gorgeous girl needs a new forever home. We won’t focus on why, rather welcome her back and thank her current adoptive family for keeping her with them until that home can be found. They love her very much, but sometimes things just don’t work out. We don’t have returns that often, in fact we are pretty sure this is our 2nd adoption return in Ten years of OCPBR.

Age: almost 7 (in September)
Current location: West Jordan, UT (will travel for foster family/forever home)

Forever home dreams do come true, but sometimes there are bumps along the way!

Hi everyone! I’m Slater, but my OCPBR family calls me Nugget. I was being given away when I was barely two weeks old, and just a wee nugget. (see what I did there?) Lucky for me, OCPBR scooped me up. I am now 1.5 years old and have been the luckiest pup with my foster homes, my current one has 3 other dogs in it and I get to go to structured daycare each week, outings and camping trips where I love meeting new human and canine friends!

I’m super energetic (but I also know how to chill) and need someone who’s going to play with me, so a home with a senior dog would not be the best fit for me. I am a silly, fun young dog, but I do not like being hugged or restrained so a home with children under the age of 5 isn’t a good fit for me. I do however LOVE to cuddle, I think I am a lapdog. I really like all dogs, but small dogs are my favorite. I am crate trained and house trained. I walk great on a leash, I know some basic obedience commands and are working on learning more.

I do have a unique health issue, my second kidney never grew. So because of this I have to eat a special low protein diet and my treats are vegetarian lol. Don’t worry OCPBR has already paid for all of the tests, so you will just need to feed me appropriate food and treats please.

At OCPBR, we do a foster to adopt with all of our special dogs going to their new families. If you have another dog(s), the dog(s) must be completely friendly with puppies, other dogs and people. Please no senior dogs.. Plus it’s unfair to senior dogs to have to endure normal young dog energy. They must also be current on vaccines. The foster must be willing and able to participate in our foster care program to include, ongoing obedience training and socialization.

Hi everyone! My name is Tara, but Im also adorned as Grama Tara.
I would enjoy a quiet calm home and need to be the only animal. I am terrified of other dogs and cats are a no go. I am looking for a home where life is simple. I don't not need walks, because she just does not enjoy them. She likes to explore the back yard to look for critters and she’ll play a game of fetch from time to time. Tara had a family her whole life. Her parents died earlier this year, and they were her entire world. Being with an older couple, she had limited exposure to the world, but knows nothing but love.

I am also fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family.

Meet 3 year old Biggie Smalls. This short stack loves everything that moves and breathes. Bull in a china shop… wrecking ball… but every shred of energy contained in this compact body is full of unadulterated love! Biggie has been around all sorts of different dogs, puppies, small, large, and even extra-large. He gets along with them all!! He can be a bit pushy during introductions because he is so excited to make a new friend, but he is submissive with dogs and has never even growled at another dog. He is currently being socialized with cats and is doing well. He does get very excited about feline friends and we recommend monitoring him due to size differences. Biggie has been around children and adults and he adores them all. Biggie wants to be a constant companion. He loves to snuggle and be as close to someone as possible. Biggie is house trained and crate trained. He has learned how to walk on a loose leash and some basic commands. He will keep the whole house in stitches with his amusing antics and huge personality. Biggie is one of the best dogs we have had the privilege of fostering and we are looking forward to him finding his perfect family that will fill his life with love.

Biggie came into a municipal shelter with heat stroke and needed extra help. After going into a foster home, he recovered from heat stroke but came down with kennel cough. Once he had recovered from that he was neutered and has been healthy and thriving. He had no training and lacked basic manners which has been a work in progress while in foster. He has made huge strides in that department and with enforced boundaries will fit in nicely with a family. He is current and up to date on vaccines as well as microchipped.

Adorable Puppy seeking forever family for snuggles! Hi my name is Calvin, I am about 6 months old and the cutest little man around town! My foster family says I am pretty confident and roll with things easily. I cruise for car rides, they don’t even know I am there sometimes I am pretty quiet. I am pretty chill for baths, I mean who wouldn’t enjoy a warm bath! I love to play, I am your typical happy puppy and I even entertain myself sometimes by talking and chasing my own tail lol. I am crate trained, potty trained, current on vaccines, I recently got a clean bill of health from the vet. I also love to learn, I am learning my leash manners, I know sit, down, and go to bed but it’s all pretty new to me still, so I would love someone to continue helping me learn!

We’ve been told he’s a bit cranky when it comes time to pick him up put his sweater on and take off; but nothing some positive reinforcements with treats isn’t fixing. When he plays with his friends he has a vocal play style and tells everyone exactly what he’s thinking. He is growing like a weed and is the cutest little chunkster. Calvin is really confident with other dogs. He even does well with his feline foster siblings. Overall, our sweet boy is a pretty mellow pup...but still a puppy. We do not know what mixed breed Calvin is, the shelter had him listed as a Pit Bull Mix, we see some Australian Shepherd and honestly have no clue.

Hi my name is Cali, but everyone calls me couch potato cali because I love to lounge around! I am around 8 years old, I love to snuggle and chill. Cuddling is my favorite sport! As you can tell I am not an active dog, I prefer the leisurely lifestyle. I love car rides, meeting new people and treats!

Cali is a loving, sweet and gentle girl, she prefers the company of humans over her own kind (dogs). She can go on walks with dogs, but doesn't really like to interact with them. She has an unknown injury to her front leg that when it healed, caused some nerve damage (all before we rescued her) so she does flip it upside down often onto the top of her paw when she gets tired from too much walking. She is crate trained, house trained, knows some basic commands like sit and go to your bed.

Honestly she is an easy dog, that doesn't require lots of exercise or walks because she prefers lounging. She would make a great companion to someone who enjoys the same leisurely life, she loves to travel in the car and would probably love a RV camping life as well...she is a shorter gal :-)
