Hi i'm Lizzie and I LOVES food and am extremely food motivated. I also loves walks/hikes/jogs. I am a little skiddish with bikes and skateboards though. I am crate trained and accustomed to wearing a pack on walks/hikes. I have a TON of energy, all day every day...total party girl. One of my favorite things is playing fetch with a tennis ball. I will go for hours if you let me.

When I am really excited I will do Zoomies through your house. I have been to the lake a few times and enjoyed playing in the water! Although I am not a huge fan of baths (I tolerates them ?) I do great on car rides and happily jump right into the car.

I have spent years going to doggy daycares and dog parks, unfortunately I have picked up some naughty habits and can be dog selective.

When we say we back our OCPBR dogs for life we mean it ?? Lizzie was adopted from us back in 2014 as a younger girl, well now she is a little bit older and wiser and the perfect age of 6.5  - 7? Unfortunately our gorgeous girl needs a new forever home. We won’t focus on why, rather welcome her back and thank her current adoptive family for keeping her with them until that home can be found. They love her very much, but sometimes things just don’t work out. We don’t have returns that often, in fact we are pretty sure this is our 2nd adoption return in Ten years of OCPBR.

Age: almost 7 (in September)
Current location: West Jordan, UT (will travel for foster family/forever home)

Forever home dreams do come true, but sometimes there are bumps along the way!

Hi everyone! I’m Slater, but my OCPBR family calls me Nugget. I was being given away when I was barely two weeks old, and just a wee nugget. (see what I did there?) Lucky for me, OCPBR scooped me up, and I was taken to my first foster home where I was bottle fed and nursed back to health. Once I got big and strong, I came to my current foster home where I have two extra large 4 legged foster siblings. Seeing as I didn’t get to grow up with my litter mates, being able to learn and grow from my foster family has been super helpful and important. I’m super energetic and need someone who’s going to play with me, so a home with a senior dog would not be the best fit for me. I am a silly, fun puppy, but I do not like being hugged or restrained so a home with children under the age of 12 isn’t a good fit for me. I completed puppy obedience training classes and I attend structured daycare 3 days a week where I am playing with new friends of all breeds and sizes and ages, I really like small dogs. I am crate trained and house trained, but sometimes have potty accidents in new environments like puppies do. I do have to eat a low protein diet, otherwise my body produces bladder stones. Don’t worry OCPBR has already paid for all of the tests, so you will just need to feed me appropriate food and treats please.

At OCPBR, we do a foster to adopt with all of our puppies going to their new families. If you have another dog(s), the dog(s) must be completely friendly with puppies, other dogs and people. Please no senior dogs, puppies are young and energetic and need a playmate for their development. Plus it’s unfair to senior dogs to have to endure normal puppy energy. They must also be current on vaccines. The foster must be willing and able to participate in our foster care program to include, ongoing obedience training and socialization.

Our most handsome boy, Jack, is looking for his forever home! Jack is 1 year old and is sweet as pie. He’s looking for an active household that loves exploring and will take him on tons of adventures. This boy LOVES water too… let’s just say he’d be your adventure buddy extraordinaire! He really enjoys playing with other dogs, so his new home must have another active, playful, non-senior dog that Jack can be best buds with. In Jack's previous home he lived with 5 cats, but he has not been with cats since, so we’re unsure how he’d do with our feline friends now that he’s older. Jack would thrive in an all adult household-just like an all ages club “18 and over please!” 🤣 The reason we’re seeking a mature, adult household for Jack is because he has a tendency to be mouthy and can exhibit resource guarding behavior. These behaviors can be managed thanks to the new choices he’s learned to make during his in depth board and train. (He graduated top of his class!💙) Jack walks great on leash, knows all his basic obedience including the “place” command. He’s EXTREMELY food motivated, his recall is on point, AND he knows commands such as “out” (aka drop it) and “come”. His new home will need to keep up on the maintenance of his training. No need to fear though! Once we find his perfect forever home, we will be including multiple sessions with an experienced trainer to ensure that what he’s learned is relayed to his new owners so you’re all on the same page and his new family can learn what HE knows. Oh, and did we mention he’s even good with fireworks?!

Jack is neutered, current on vaccines, crate trained and microchipped. He does have allergies that are managed well with an allergy shot every 2 months. We do ask that his new family has experience with strong breeds.

Hi everyone! I am Emmett, but I also respond to handsome meat head or hunk. (Looking at my pictures, I’m sure you can see why ?) I’m about 4 years old and I’d like to think I’m a pretty easy going guy. A couple months ago, OCPBR rescued me from a shelter, and they were told I’m an abuse survivor. I don’t know exactly what that means, but I do know I LOVE people. Cats aren’t my favorite so my new home would be best without one, but I do like other dogs as long as they can be mellow and calm like me. Not to toot my own horn, but I walk perfectly on leash, even on pack walks with other dogs, and am already house and crate trained. All in all, I’m a pretty easy going, chill, goof ball who loves to love. If you think we’d be a good match, submit an application for me.I am also fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family.

Hi everyone! My name is Tara, but Im also adorned as Grama Tara.
I would enjoy a quiet calm home and need to be the only animal. I am terrified of other dogs and cats are a no go. I am looking for a home where life is simple. I don't not need walks, because she just does not enjoy them. She likes to explore the back yard to look for critters and she’ll play a game of fetch from time to time. Tara had a family her whole life. Her parents died earlier this year, and they were her entire world. Being with an older couple, she had limited exposure to the world, but knows nothing but love.

I am also fully vetted, neutered, microchipped and looking for my perfect forever family.

Are you ready to meet your new best friend!??! World, meet Ranger! This ham is allllllll love. Ranger had a rough start to his life, but he doesn’t let that slow him down and he doesn’t care to give the past anymore of his time. (That-a-boy Ranger, we fully support this!) This hunk is all about the future and is ready to find his perfect family. Ranger LOVES people and at a whopping 70lbs thinks it’s still okay to be a lap dog. He’s still young, so he can get excited easy and loves to play…. His most favorite though is belly rubs!

Ranger has been around children and is gentle and calm. He has also made some new doggo friends, but he’s not much of a fan of our feline friends. Ranger has spent the last couple of months with a foster family that has worked on teaching him basic manners and obedience. He’s smart and has caught on quickly as he’s definitely eager to please. Ranger goes on pack walks every morning and walks like a champ on leash. His ideal home would be someone who is experienced with strong breeds that can set healthy boundaries and maintain his training…. But MOST importantly, he deserves a home that will make him a part of the family and love him to infinity and beyond.

Ranger is crate trained, neutered, microchipped and current on vaccines.
